Hi! I'm the owner and lead pet attendant of Pup's Plus One and an attorney during the week.  I was born and raised here in Charleston, SC and am a Clemson University and Georgia State Law alum. Law school led me to get my first dog, a Boykin Spaniel named Roux. I quickly became the “I’m not going unless my dog can come” dog mom.

 

I fell in love with a veterinarian and together we found my dream dog, a Golden Retriever named Judge. A month after Judge, one of my fiance's patients, a puppy only a day younger than Judge, was surrendered by his owner. Champ became our third. Anyone that knows me knows I am wild about my three. I trained our dogs in both obedience and hunting and have always been the on-call pet sitter for all of our friends and family members. 

 

While in school, I studied animal law and volunteered with special needs dogs at the Atlanta Humane Society. I also served on the Board of Directors for Dorchester PAWS - Summerville's local shelter.
