Our Story
Long before the ring, we knew our three dogs had to be part of our big day but we hadn't thought about the logistics. Fast-forward to the engagement, including our pups was still top priority when venue scouting. My issue was finding someone who could make sure our three rowdy dogs of honor were in the right places at the right times without adding stress to me, my groom, my family or wedding party.
While searching for this type of service, I kept landing on dog walkers or sitters. Knowing how different my dogs walking around the block would be to them walking down the aisle, I wanted someone I knew had experience with weddings as well. After volunteering to help friends with their dogs and planning for my own, I decided to create Pup's Plus One to ensure other couples get to celebrate with all of their loved ones without adding more stress to the planning or the big day.

The Dogs of Honor
Roux
Roux is our “little brown dog.” She is a five-year old Boykin Spaniel. Like all five year olds, Roux is sassy, stubborn and loves her dad.
Judge
Judge is a big teddy bear and a mama's boy - attached to her hip. He is a one-year old Golden Retriever who can do no wrong.
Champ
Champ is our one-year old Labradoodle rescue and Judge's bff. He has more energy in his left paw than your average kindergarten class.
